The word-for-word translation of Upadesa Undiyargiven in this book was made by Sri Sadhu Om, who was one of the foremost disciples of of Sri Bhagavan and close associate of Sri Murugannar. The above introduction and the notes which accompany each verse were written by me, but were based largely upon the explanations given by Sri Sadhu Om.
